NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

            NSS unit of Danielson degree college was established in 1974 with its motto “Not me but you” . The main objective of this unit is holistic development of students through social services .

The NSS unit has vacancy of 100 boys Mr. Ravindra Nafde,(A.P.) department of computer science and application is the program officer of NSS. His efforts, devotion towards duties & guidelines to students resulted in the great success of students as well as the institution .

Award –

The NSS unit of the college has been awarded best unit for its excellent contribution towards society by MP higher education department Bhopal. This facilitation program was organized in  Ravindre Bhawan, Bhopal  on 11 September 2013 .The Principal, Dr. Miss. K. Keller & NSS program officer were facilitated by showl, shreefal & certificates.

Regular Activities –

1. Plantation

2. Organization of seminars and workshops.

3. Awareness drive, campaign & workshops.

4. Organizing seven days residence camp.

5. Participation in health program & Blood donation camps.

6. Participation in state level / National level camps.

7. NSS day celebration on 24 September every year.

8. Participation in Tracking camp/ Adventure camp.

Innovation –

1. Seven days basic computer training program was organized for weak ,poor and deprived children of village Sarra district Chhindwara (M.P)  (2016-17).

2. College is providing facilities for disabled for running weekly study centre at the campus since last 12 years. Mr. Ravindra Nafde NSS programme officer of this college conducts different activities for disables regularly.

3. Mr. R. Nafde, Mr. P. Bhushankar, Mr. B.B. Bujhade serve voluntarily and honorary among inmates registered in IGNOU study centre, district jail, Chhindwara.
